Job Description

Groomy is a vet practice that combines a day care, boarding, physio, grooming and retail unit. Those activities will be supported by a pet taxi service. We are looking for an experienced driver with confidence and enthusiasm for small animals to join this newly established practice in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will perform all the taxi driving services for the day care and related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining the cleanness of all different areas related to his department (Pet Taxi and surroundings).

• Making sure that the Pet Taxi is on optimal condition to do its activity without any danger and under regulations of the UAE laws.

• Transporting animals to their destinations and bringing them to the clinic when needed, ensuring the safety of the Pets during the transportation.

• Delivery of the e-commerce purchases under the guidance and commands of the Admin Team.

• Using positive reinforcement and other techniques to elicit desired animal behavior.

• Providing updates to other parties about the progress and condition of the animals during and after the transportation.

• Providing general care to animals, such as giving them water when needed

• Providing support to the rest of the team in the rest of the areas when needed including boarding and daycare.

• Working closely with all colleagues and nurture a culture of collaboration and teamwork.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• The role would be suitable for a driver with at least two years of experience

• UAE Driving License

• Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements:

• Strong understanding of UAE roads and traffic regulations

• Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.

• Experience in the UAE veterinary market, handling diverse clients, and collaborating with local veterinary organizations is preferred.
