The Driver Fitness Program plays an essential role in maintaining roadway safety while ensuring fair, consistent, and customer-focused processes for Iowans impacted by medical, vision, and crash-related driver review requirements.
We are seeking a Driver Fitness Administrative Assistant 2 to provide essential administrative and customer service support for the Driver Fitness Program. Responsibilities include reviewing reports, processing documentation, ensuring compliance with policies, managing workflows, and facilitating communication among field offices, medical providers, law enforcement, partner agencies, and the public.
Location Ankeny, with Remote Work Available
Shift Requirements Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with occasional in-state travel.
This role requires strong decision-making ability, careful application of law and policy, and effective communication with customers, field offices, medical providers, law enforcement, and internal partners.
