Your Impact:

Be part of the team that keeps race day running smoothly. As a Driver & Equipment Installer of Racing Services, you’ll deliver and set up TAB wagering equipment at tracks across the region, ensuring everything is in place, tested, and ready to go. Your work directly supports the excitement of live racing and delivers a seamless customer experience.

From planning resources to safely operating Class 5 vehicles and installing equipment on-site, you’ll take on hands-on responsibility with variety and pace. This role gives you the chance to grow your career in racing operations and live event delivery while making an impact every race day.

A Day in the Life:

Based in our Hamilton regional office, you’ll be at the heart of our fast-paced racing operation. You’ll travel to tracks across Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, and occasionally Ruakaka and Northland. This role offers variety and requires flexibility across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays in line with race schedules. Here’s a snapshot of your day:

• Plan race day equipment in coordination with the Racing Services Team Leader.
• Drive and deliver trucks and control vans, including equipment set up and pack down.
• Pre-test race day equipment, check connections, and escalate issues.
• Manage vehicles, ensuring roadworthiness and safety compliance.
• Maintain customer focus, identify improvement and demonstrate organisational values.

Your Strengths:

• Clean class 3 licence with heavy vehicle experience, including truck & trailer operation.
• Knowledge of horse or greyhound racing product is preferred.
• Strong planning, organisational, and communication skills.
• Team-oriented with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Customer-focused with a proactive, collaborative approach.
