Salary: ₦90,000 – ₦100,000 Net Monthly
Work Schedule: Rotational Shifts
- Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Night Shift: 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM
We are seeking a reliable, professional, and safety-conscious Driver to join our team in Enugu. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe transportation of personnel, clients, and company materials while ensuring vehicles are properly maintained and operated in compliance with traffic regulations. Candidates must be familiar with Enugu road networks, surrounding areas, and major routes within the state, and be available for immediate resumption.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport staff, visitors, clients, and company materials to designated locations.
- Ensure assigned vehicles are clean, fueled, and maintained in excellent working condition at all times.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all road safety regulations, traffic laws, and company transportation policies.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, mileage, and vehicle servicing.
- Plan efficient travel routes to avoid delays and ensure timely arrival at destinations.
- Assist with loading and unloading of materials when required.
- Monitor vehicle documents and ensure licenses, insurance, and other statutory requirements remain valid.
- Respond promptly to transportation requests, including emergency assignments when necessary.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a courteous attitude while representing the organization.
- Ensure the security and safety of passengers and company property during transit.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE/WAEC qualification.
- National Diploma (ND) in any relevant field is required.
- Valid Nigerian Driver's License.
- Minimum of three (3) years of professional driving experience.
- Proven knowledge of Enugu road networks, major routes, landmarks, and surrounding areas.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
- Clean driving record with no history of serious traffic violations.
- Must be physically fit and capable of handling long driving hours when required.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and highly disciplined.
- Ability to work day and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays when necessary.
- Must reside in Enugu or its environs.
Added Advantage
- Higher educational qualification beyond ND.
- Basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
- Previous driving experience within a healthcare, corporate, logistics, or hospitality environment.
- Professional defensive driving certification.
- Experience driving both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Good knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and preventive maintenance.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation and route optimization tools.
