ABOUT THE ROLE
We have an exciting role available in our Avalon DC for a casual Transport Driver. You will enable our vision by delivering orders to stores and customer to support store performance and customer experience. You will load, drive and secure trucks and deliver orders and returns goods to DC, using correct systems, equipment and Safe Operating Procedures in line with timeline expectations. You will be responsible for safe driving practices, observing and traffic directions and will ensure that the company vehicle is locked and safe at all times. You will maintain general upkeep of company vehicles including cleanliness and will complete and return required delivery paperwork, in line with expected standards. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Keen understanding of Chain of Responsibility and current Victorian road laws
• Current and valid MR license appropriate to site fleet requirements
• Experience in high volume warehouses and relevant systems
• Previous experience working in a similar role is preferred but not essential
• Previous experience working in a DC is preferred but not essential
• Strong time management and organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
AVAILABILITY
• Candidates must be available Monday – Friday 5am – 1pm
• Candidates must be flexible for weekend work during Peak periods and as required to support store volumes
