Clean Harbors in Corunna, ON is seeking a local Class AZ Driver to join their safety conscious team! The successful candidate will hold a Class AZ License and be responsible for operating a variety of units to perform hazardous and non-hazardous waste pickups at various client sites. This is a Unionized position.

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner.
• Drive, operate and maintain assigned units (Roll off, Luggers, Tankers, Vans etc.)
• Guarantee proper loading and unloading of hazardous/non-hazardous waste.
• Perform pre-and-post-trip inspections and ensure the equipment is always mechanically sound and in good working order.
• Ensure proper placarding of vehicles to meet all requirements and regulations.
• Complete field level risk assessments and other related paperwork.
• Work as part of a team with customers, co-workers & supervisors.

• Class AZ commercial license required.
• Ability to be clean shaven and wear all required PPE.
• FAST Card high preferred. Minimum requirement to hold a valid passport and no restrictions.
• Reliable transportation to commute the facility required.
• Hazardous Waste/TDG experience highly preferred.
• Previous Tanker or Roll-Off experience is required.
• Ability to drive up to an 18-speed manual transmission required.
• Ability to work/drive in all weather conditions for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions for extended periods of time.
