Employee Contract Type:

Local - Fixed Term Employee (Fixed Term)

• Transport safely the project staff complying with all traffic laws and with the regulations of the organization avoiding unnecessary risks
• Transport project documents, assets and supplies as requested from the provincial office the districts and the reverse
• Ensure proper vehicle maintenance, with a daily inspection of water levels and oil, air pressure in tires, lighting and signaling devices, etc.
• Ensure that vehicle is cleaned inside and outside on a regular basis all equipment received is kept safe; ensure that vehicle is parked in a safe manner in accordance with the safety regulations of the Organization
• Report any abnormality, damage or accident to the program manager or his substitute in case of their absence, following the rules and procedures of the WV
• Fill all information needed in the logbook every day when using the car. Evaluate the fuel expenses according to the distances traveled and deliver a monthly report to the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid driving license, High school level certification, Certification in defensive driving or mechanics could be added advantage.

Proven experience in an equivalent position, including safe driving (including in rural areas with sub optimal road conditions) and maintenance of vehicle, and control of fuel use. Past experience in humanitarian work is an added advantage.
