Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Category C licensed Driver to operate heavy goods vehicles for the safe and timely transportation of goods. The ideal candidate will ensure deliveries are completed efficiently, maintain high safety standards, and provide excellent service while representing the company professionally on the road.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Operate Category C vehicles (rigid trucks over 3.5 tonnes) safely and in compliance with road regulations
• 
  Transport goods to designated locations on scheduled routes
• 
  Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods
• 
  Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance needs
• 
  Ensure delivery paperwork is completed accurately
• 
  Maintain compliance with driving hours and tachograph regulations
• 
  Follow company procedures for health, safety, and security
• 
  Provide professional and courteous service to customers and clients
• 
  Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition

Requirements

• 
  Valid Category C driving license (HGV Class 2 or equivalent)
• Proven experience as a truck or HGV driver
• 
  Good knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations
• 
  Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• 
  Physically fit to handle loading/unloading duties
• 
  Reliable, punctual, and responsible attitude
