Amery Hospital & Clinic is hiring a Van Driver/Courier.

Help make a difference in your community by providing patients with safe, reliable transportation.

Our Driver/Couriers support the AHC mission, vision, guiding principles, and standards of behavior while providing transportation of supplies, tools, equipment, and other materials to and from satellite clinics. They participate in quality and process improvement initiatives and performs additional related duties as needed to support organizational and operational goals.

What You’ll Do:

• Picks up/drops off any supplies or equipment that needs transporting.
• Makes necessary runs for departments to obtain or deliver supplies, mail, etc.
• Works with AHC departments and satellite clinics to ensure that equipment, supplies, etc. get to their destination in a timely fashion.
• Turns in gas receipts and maintenance receipts to appropriate personnel.
• Vacuums, washes, and cleans vehicle daily during shift.
• Routinely warms up vehicle, cleans ice off the windows and checks routine maintenance items as necessary: i.e., tires, gas, etc.
• Brings vehicle in for any necessary maintenance & reports any concerns immediately.
• Works with other drivers to ensure that all transportation shifts are covered; covers for each other when necessary.

Work Schedule: FTE: .2 (8 hrs. weekly), Day Shift

Required Qualifications:

Education, Experience, or Equivalent:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Continually maintains a satisfactory driving record.

Licensure:

Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License with clean driving record.
