Job Description

The Opportunity

The Driver is responsible for picking and delivering the goods according to the needs of our customers.

The Role

  • Transport and deliver goods according to the established schedule, including out of hours delivery and pick-up emergencies, potential for out-of-town deliveries on occasion.
  • Securing the shipment for transport, pallets, and boxes
  • Complete the various documents necessary to track the goods
  • Conduct the various daily inspections and ensure adequate follow-up
  • Deliver goods on time in a courteous and professional manner
  • Ensure the vehicle is clean to project a positive image of the company
  • Perform any other duties as required, help in warehouse when not driving
  • Must operate the Tundra delivery vehicle in a safe and professional manner, while obeying the rules of the road at all times

The Candidate

  • Education: High School; valid class 5 driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Work Experience: Minimum 2-3 years experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge: Competent in Microsoft Office. Strong computer skills. Forklift certification preferred.
