The Opportunity

Join Veolia Environmental Services as a Driver (Operator) in our Metro Packaged Waste team. Operating various vehicles including front, rear lift and forklift.

Based at our Welshpool site, servicing customers across the region.

Be part of a sustainable waste management company committed to environmental responsibility.

Mon - Fri - 6.00 am starts 8 - 10 hrs on average and overtime as required

What you'll be responsible for

  • Collecting and transporting packaged controlled waste safely and responsibly
  • Operating Veolia vehicles and forklift equipment to load/unload waste
  • Completing pre and post-trip vehicle inspections and documentation
  • Ensuring waste is delivered to licensed disposal depots in compliance with regulations
  • Maintaining vehicles and work areas to high cleanliness standards

What you'll need to be successful

  • Current HR Class driver's licence (essential)
  • Bulk Dangerous Goods Licence (essential)
  • LF Forklift High Risk Licence (essential)
  • Waste industry experience and hazardous goods knowledge (desirable)
  • Commitment to safety and the Veolia Always Safe Charter
