Purpose and Scope

The Driver provides safe and reliable transportation of project personnel, documents, packages, materials, and mail between designated locations in the Philippines in accordance with the assigned schedule, supporting the day-to-day operations of the BioSHIELD project team.

Essential Responsibilities

• Transport project personnel and deliver messages, documents, packages, and mail between designated locations per the assigned schedule.

• Assist with the loading and unloading of the vehicle.

• Maintain a log of receipts for delivered items and vehicle operational purchases as required.

• Assist in the maintenance, fueling, and cleaning of assigned vehicles to ensure a safe, professional, and well-appearing vehicle.

• Interact courteously and professionally with passengers, requiring strong communication skills.

• Comply with all applicable local traffic laws, policies, procedures, and administrative directives.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Valid Philippines driver's license and an excellent driving record.

• Minimum of five (5) years' experience driving a van, automobile, or light truck with high proficiency.

• Ability to communicate effectively; certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) preferred.

Work Environment, Physical and Mental Demands

Work environment is both inside and outside company facility locations, with a significant portion of time spent driving a company vehicle in the Philippines. Involves consistent sitting, routine lifting up to 50 pounds, regular handling, grasping, kneeling, and carrying, and constant use of vision and mental alertness.
