Cygnet Long Eaton Day Services specialises in supporting individuals with a primary diagnosis of a learning disability, in addition to those with complex health needs, physical disabilities and those with autism. We have a long history of enhancing the quality of life of the individuals who attend the service.
We are currently looking for a Driver, who is able to drive our 7 seater mini bus, working on a part time basis. This is a split shift contract, 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon, Monday- Friday.
Please note: For insurance purposes, applicants must be 21 years of age or over and have held a full UK driving license for at least 2 years. You also need to have a D1 licence to be able to drive the minibus.
You will also be responsible for ensuring the company vehicle used is refuelled and to check the vehicle before going out and after return, keeping it clean inside and out and reporting any faults/damage.
You will need to demonstrate each of the following:
Hold a valid UK driving D1 Licence with no more than 3 points
Knowledge of the local area
Able to navigate around an area using Sat Nav or maps
Able to plan and keep to a schedule
Willing to work unsupervised
Good customer service skills
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Excellent organization skills
