The Driver is responsible for safely delivering company's products in good condition and in a timely manner to ensure retail stores always have sufficient product.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Inspect trailers and record any identified defects.
* Provide support to Shipping department with loading and unloading process of trailers and
arrange trailers to maximize the yard space.
* Check trailers prior to pulling away from the dock doors.
* Follow all safety company policies and procedures, including maintaining good housekeeping,
immediately reporting any issues, accidents or incidents. Responsible for completing online
safety training each month as assigned.
* Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
* Operate tractor-trailer in various driving environments and weather conditions between
company facilities.
* Drive for extended periods of time.
* Maintain truck electronic logging device (ELD) logs according to state and federal regulations.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor/trailer(s) and when stopped in route.
* Drop and hook trailer(s) and change equipment configurations as necessary.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

* Minimum of 2 years or more experience.
* Teamwork oriented and self-motivated.
* Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
* Excellent attendance and safety record.
* Available to work weekends and overtime.
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, Team Member is required to sit for long periods of time.
Additional requirements may include lifting material up to 50 pounds, frequently twisting, turning,
reaching, pushing, and pulling; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with
hands and arms; climb, balance, stoop, kneel or crouch.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

As part of the job requirements, Team Member may work in varying weather conditions. Must be
flexible with work schedule that supports a 24-hour production facility. Schedule may include weekends
and overtime.
