
The International Water Management Institute ( IWMI), a CGIAR Research Center, is seeking a pleasant and courteous driver to join its headquarters in Battaramulla, Sri Lanka.
Under the close supervision of the Transportation Officer, the Driver is responsible for transporting staff, visitors, and guests safely to assigned destinations, maintaining trip logs, and reporting any incidents or vehicle issues. The role involves notifying supervisors of challenges, sharing travel information with passengers, and adhering strictly to traffic laws and organizational safety protocols. The Driver ensures quality service delivery by conducting pre-trip safety checks, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and functionality, and keeping vehicle documentation and servicing up to date.

This is a nationally recruited position and only Sri Lankan nationals will be considered. IWMI offers a competitive salary and benefits package, inclusive of health insurance, life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, and long-term disability coverage. The duration of the contract will initially be for a period of three years with the possibility of extension.
