TITLE: Driver
Contract Type: National
TEAM/PROGRAMME: Program Implementation
LOCATION: Mae Sot, Tak Province, Thailand
CONTRACT LENGTH: 1 year, with possibility of extension
ROLE PURPOSE:
Ensure safe transportation of staff and materials, proper operation of vehicles, record keeping and other administrative duties. In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.
SCOPE OF ROLE:
The Driver is responsible for the day-to-day driving. The position will process that driving is performed in compliance with Save the Children International (SCI) policies and procedures regulations.

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
Ensure that vehicle log book for fleet are properly recorded and maintained for input into Excel vehicle management system. This system records the following:
- daily record of kilometres for work use
- daily record of gas consumption for work use
- monthly record of maintenance costs
- personal observations by driver and/or vehicle logistician
