Driver and support services are for project specific job in York County, SC.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspects trucks and trailers prior to delivery
Notifies manager if inspection does not check out on a vehicle
Assists with loading material for delivery
Delivers material to jobsites in a timely manner
Maintains fuel, and daily log books and turns in to manager weekly
Responsible for ensuring all material has been loaded properly
Comply with DOT regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions on jobsites, storage location, etc.
Collect and verify delivery instructions daily.
Assists with rigging and unloading of equipment on jobsites.
Other duties as required.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
High School Diploma or GED
Three years’ experience as commercial driver
CDL Class A license
Clean MVR
Must be able to work flexible schedule and overtime as needed
Basic computer knowledge
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Good knowledge of the Charlotte NC and York County SC area
Experience in the construction industry
Lull Equipment Operator
OSHA 10
Flagger Training
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORTS
Work involves moderate exposure to elements, such as hot/cold temperatures, dirt, dust, and/or loud noises.
Work environment involves moderate exposure to construction warehouse hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
Moderate physical effort. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 75 pounds and extensive sitting. Some walking and standing.
