York Factory Direct Stores offer the full lineup of York, Guardian, and Hitachi HVAC Products. York FD stores provide high quality and expedient delivery of the company's full line of residential and commercial HVAC ducted and ductless systems, Source One Parts, supplies and components. You will represent one of the leading brands in the HVAC distribution channel for York Factory Direct promoting York & Hitachi's portfolios to assigned accounts. The Delivery Driver - Warehouse Coordinator deals directly with our customers on a daily basis to ensure they have a positive experience. As a member of the branch team, this will primarily be accomplished through ensuring orders are picked and loaded correctly and efficiently directly to our customer vehicles, third party carriers, our own company vehicles or personally making the delivery in a company vehicle. This will be accomplished through coordinating logistics operations of the team through the safe and efficient operation of material handling equipment and company vehicles, ensuring effective inventory management, in compliance of company policy and government regulations

This position supports the Branch Manager to ensure the overall success of the location. This may include, but not limited to, covering for the Branch Manager when absent or unavailable, assisting the Branch Manager to ensure the site is in compliance of processes and procedures, helping with all branch duties such as working as a Counter Sales Agent, safety, and other duties as required.

Essential duties and responsibilities

The Warehouse Coordinator assists the Branch Manager in all his duties, while being the daily face of the company to our customers, it is imperative to ensure they have a positive experience, while maintain our safety, quality, and other policies and standards.

· As a part of the branch team positively engage in our Zero Harm culture. It is a commitment to ensure the safety and well-being of employees, contractors, and all individuals involved in our operations.

· Ensure incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions are properly reported, and eliminated in a timely manner.

· Ensure your PPE compliance and as a member of a team, help other do the same.

· Ensure that vehicles and material handling equipment are operated in a safe manner in accordance with company policy, guidelines, and practices, and in compliance with government regulations. This includes but no limited to:

· Ensuring proper pre-trip and post-inspections are conducted.

· That licenses and certifications are current and valid.

· Posted speed limits are obeyed.

· Minimizing idle time.

· As a part of branch team delight our customers by providing quality products and services which meet or exceed their requirements and evolving expectations. This is achieved through a commitment to continuous improvement and the pursuit of a zero-defect culture.

· Manage customer relationships and enhance the customer experience.

· Engage in supporting the Branch Manager to enable the efficient operation of the branch in accordance with current guidelines, policies, practices, and procedures.

· Proactively engage in the safe efficient operation of the warehouse:

· Proactively coordinating the team to maintain and ensure the warehouse is a professionally clean organized warehouse.

· Shipping and receiving activities as required to assure that products are handled and stored in a safe and efficient manner.

· Proper picking of orders including managing first in, first out (FIFO) compliance.

· Receive returned product from customers – inspecting for damage, check packing slip for product accuracy, and securing returning product to ensure safe and undamaged return.

· Enhance and improve inventory management.

· Communicate daily with customers via phone, fax, e-mail, or in person.

· Enter customer orders, look up parts, parts research, and warranties as required.

· Promote and support sales promotions.

· Actively collaborate with regional sales force and other field staff to deliver premier customer service.

· Work closely with other vital departments such as credit, billing, shipping, purchasing, technical service, marketing, etc.

· Research and resolve customer issues ad complaints.

· Other duties as directed.

Qualifications

4-6 years of warehouse operations experience.

· High School diploma or equivalent combined education and experience.

· Strong interpersonal, customer relationship and decision-making skills.

· Effective and professional communication and organization skills.

· Ability to work effectively as a member of a team in a high-volume fast-paced environment.

· Strong analytical skills.

· Prior warehouse and forklift experience desired. Experience with a bar code / RF inventory management system a plus.

· Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite beneficial.

· HVAC industry experience preferred.
