Job Description

Location: Albury | Full-Time Permanent | Monday to Friday (8:30am starts)

Team Global Express is seeking an MR Driver to commence immediately in Albury.

About the Role

• Deliver palletised freight to multiple shopping centres, private addresses and businesses
• Hand unloads or tailgate lifts or forklift at the point of delivery, including utilizing a Pallet Jack where necessary
• You will be required to drive Medium Rigids in this role
• Complete deliveries and pickups promptly and according to time frames

Key Responsibilities

• Must have a safety-first approach and demonstrate WHS practices and procedures consistently
• Follow and comply with company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes
• Restraining loads safely as well as the correct use of straps where required
• Keeping trucks in a clean and maintainable condition, whilst also keeping the yard and your personal work area tidy
• Must be able to complete your own vehicle pre-start checks
• Ensure freight is handled without damage
• Scan all freight. If you touch it, scan it
• Actively participate in all safety processes and procedures
• Always operate your vehicle in a safe and legal manner

Skills & Experience

• You must hold a current MR Licence
• Knowledge and experience utilising a tailgate
• You will be able to follow instructions and work autonomously
• You must have excellent punctuality and the ability to complete deliveries in a timely manner
• You must have full rights to work in Australia
• You must have a high attention towards safety
