We are looking for a Driveline Test Engineer to join our team and support an important customer. The activity includes:

• Collect reliable information from skilled colleagues for each required test to prepare new activities with the state-of-the-art methods for the company
• Plan, direct, set-up, operate, diagnose, and monitor driveline component and integrated vehicle systems tests and evaluations in laboratory, track or field environments
• Determine required test instrumentation, data acquisition and test control equipment
• Provide direction to lab staff as well as hands on involvement in the installation, set-up, and operation of test automation, instrumentation, data acquisition and support equipment required to perform tests
• Establish, follow, and document lab test procedures
• Diagnose problems to determine and implement corrective action
• Interface effectively with support groups and customers, such as Design Engineering, Materials Engineering, Manufacturing, etc.
• Collect and analyze test data, use test data to identify trends, problems.
• Communicate data with others effectively; write formal, technical test reports
• Assure that tests are correctly scheduled and completed for each project milestone
• Understand the priorities among the different test required and plan the tests accordingly.
• Deal with Test Cell Engineers to obtain test room availability with the correct timing.

Qualifications

Desired qualifications:

• Technical University Graduation (Mechanical Engineering or similar)
• 1+ years of experience working
• Interest in agricultural vehicles
• Good computer skills with Word, Excel, MS Office suite
• Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Teams working attitude and sharing of knowledges
• Specific skills in testing
• Available to travel off-shore (India, Brazil, US, etc.) for short periods (1-2 weeks)
• Good knowledge of English and Italian language
