Job Description

Do you want to work with world‑class advanced control systems and play a key role in developing high‑performance machine solutions? This is your opportunity.

We are now looking for a Drive and Control Engineer who will design, specify, and integrate control solutions for some of the most advanced machines on the market. In this role, you collaborate closely with development, production, and after‑sales teams — becoming a central part of an experienced and highly skilled engineering organization.

About the Role

As a Drive and Control Engineer, you take technical ownership of our CNC, PLC, HMI, and Drive systems. You support the entire process from request to installed machine, ensuring that both internal and external customers receive solutions that areefficient, reliable, and user‑friendly.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Designing, sizing, and specifying systems with a focus on quality, functionality, and cost‑effectiveness.

  • Ensuring that all system designs and revisions are kept up to date for each machine.

  • Creating and maintaining documentation for CNC, PLC, and HMI systems.

  • Acting as main design owner for selected development projects.

  • Providing technical support to Sales, Project Management, Production, and After Sales.

  • Supporting Mechanical and Electrical Design teams with Drive and Control‑related questions.

  • Contributing to problem‑solving, improvement initiatives, and EC case handling.

This role offers broad technical scope and real influence over both product development and internal processes.

Who You Are

You’re an engineer with experience in control and drive systems (CNC/PLC/HMI) who enjoys combining analysis, problem‑solving, and technical innovation. You’re structured, communicative, and confident operating in projects with multiple stakeholders.

We believe you:

  • Hold a degree in automation, mechatronics, electronics, or similar — or have equivalent experience.

  • Have hands-on experience with drive systems, control systems, and machine integration.

  • Appreciate documenting and quality‑securing your work.

  • Enjoy collaboration and acting as a technical resource across the organization.
