Job Description

Looking for a Drilling Supervisor to be responsible for managing the Drill Site Operations on the mine site. You will be reporting to the drilling Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

Operations and Logistics

  • Manage the daily performance of a drill crew.
  • Maintain clean and safe work site and equipment.
  • Functional knowledge of all types of exploration drilling.
  • Troubleshoot problems and be solution orientated.
  • Plan and complete preventative maintenance to maximise equipment production;
  • Ensure personal and crew compliance with Company WHS regulations and site-specific rules.
  • Provide guidance and training to Drillers assistants and Trainee drillers.

Health and Safety

  • Hazard identification, risk assessment and mitigation measures.
  • Ensure that crew has a safe working environment.
  • Maintain a harmonious workplace.

Management skills

  • Excellent coordinating skills in order to ensure optimum production
  • Must be thorough planner and be able to execute the planned operation.
  • Thorough knowledge about RC and Diamond rig operations and safety measures
  • Team management and excellent communication skills
  • Good analyses and ability to multitasks

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Minimum 8 years experience in the Drilling industry.
  • Experience with RC and diamond drilling
  • Experience in a multicultural environment.
  • Experience working in remote areas and extreme environments
  • Level III HSE management.
  • Cert IV in Drilling Operations.
  • Thai and English proficiency
