Responsibilities

• Office-based with regular trips to offshore/onshore drilling unit
• Plan, lead and supervise all aspects of drilling & completion engineering works for successful, cost effective and safe implementation of COMPANY exploration and development wells. Drilling Manager manages day-to-day drilling activities and operations and ensures all operations are carried out in safe, efficient, and economical manner.
• Manages the planning and execution of drilling projects.
• Plans and develops revisions or enhancements to solve and troubleshoot drilling problems.
• Strategize, plan and schedule preparation to ensure all activities are operated in safe and cost-effective manner.
• Coach and train Drilling/Completion Engineers assigned to the project team to enable accelerated learning for the engineers.
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Reduce non-productive time (NPT) and operations cost by identifying problem areas, analyze NPT trends and recommend remedial action.
• Review, analyze and modify base requirement for the scope of work and technical specifications for the tender packages to be in line with project requirement and meeting the minimum cost concept and HSE requirement.
• Ensure compliance to COMPANY's safety requirement and standards by coordinating and performing on site rig inspections, acceptance test on contracted drilling rigs and 3rdparty equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Improve drilling efficiency by conducting and implementing innovative studies and lessons learnt.
• To review Final Well Report and conduct After Action Review after end of well.
• Possess these competencies and the minimum levels required to perform the satisfactory..
• Technical know-how with drilling from his/her previous experience.
• Good attitude and pleasant manner.

Responsibilities

• Bachelor degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Attended IWCF Level 4 (Drilling).
• Minimum fifteen (15) years' experience in well engineering / drilling operation.
• Minimum ten (10) years' experience as Drilling Manager.
• Possess valid BOSIET certification and Fitness To Work (from MPM Authorized Medical Examiner) (if required)
• Possess H2S Training and certification (if required).
• Possess PCSB Permit To Work (PTW) Level 3 certification (if required).
• Proficiency in drilling engineering software (i.e.: Compass, Wellplan, WellCAT, StressCheck, Openwell, Drillbench, WellBarrier, etc.)
