Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Driller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating drilling equipment to prepare rock and aggregate materials for blasting, extraction, and processing. This role plays a key part in maintaining safe, efficient, and continuous quarry production.

· Operate hydraulic and pneumatic drilling equipment for production drilling.

· Follow daily drilling patterns and instructions from the Supervisor or Blasting Team.

· Inspect drilling equipment and perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting.

· Ensure all drilling is completed safely, accurately, and according to design specifications.

· Monitor ground conditions and adjust techniques as required.

· Keep accurate records of drilled footage, bit usage, and equipment hours.

· Assist with blasting preparation and support activities as needed.

· Follow all company safety policies, environmental regulations, and applicable legislation.

· Work collaboratively with the quarry, blasting, and maintenance teams.

· Experience operating drilling equipment in a quarry, mining, construction, or similar environment.

· Experience with top-hammer, down-the-hole (DTH), or rotary drilling systems.

· Strong awareness of safety procedures and compliance requirements.

· Ability to work in varying weather conditions and rugged terrain.

· Physical ability to perform manual labor and equipment operation.

· Valid driver’s license.

· Mechanical aptitude for equipment troubleshooting.
