Job Description

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of proven experience as a Drill Rig Specialist in the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of drill rig operations, maintenance, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and train junior staff.
  • Certifications in drill rig operations and safety (if applicable).
  • Willingness to Travel: Ability and willingness to travel when required to project sites or other locations as part of job responsibilities. 

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Expertise: Utilize extensive knowledge and experience to operate and maintain drill rig plants effectively.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on drill rig equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to and enforce all safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Training: Provide training and guidance to junior staff on drill rig operations and safety procedures.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and operational activities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure seamless integration of drill rig operations within construction projects.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot issues related to drill rig operations, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
