GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Drill Operator works proficiently with others, but also has the ability to work well independently. The Drill Operator will have the ability to safely and efficiently operate roll rotating equipment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

Initial assignment qualities and responsibilities to include:

• Safely and efficiently operate roll rotating equipment
• Safely and efficiently operate overhead cranes
• Safely and efficiently operate hand and power tools
• Safely and efficiently set up all aspects of suction and press rolls for drilling
• Ability and willingness to learn new equipment if/when upgrade
• Accurately read, communicate, and reproduce drill patterns in paper machine rolls using methods including CNC drill machine
• Ability to read and understand standard prints
• Other assignments as directed by production supervision
• Ability to perform other maintenance, housekeeping, painting and miscellaneous tasks as needed and/or as directed by supervision
• Be willing and able to proficiently perform all tasks with or without supervision

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Education: High school Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: On the job training will be provided.Other combinations of experience and education that meet requirements may be substituted
