This individual is responsible for the overall referral, admission, coordination, and maintenance of all administration functions.
They are responsible for planning, developing, implementing and evaluating the operation of the unit and provides overall
directions to the work of the unit through subordinated staff. This position will be responsible for the supervising of all Intake
Specialists within their respective Facility and/or Region.
This individual will oversee the quality and timeliness of assessment, tracking and reporting accurate referral information. This
position requires considerable contact with internal program directors, intake staff, psychiatric staff and the marketing
department. Responsibility will consist of maintaining a professional relationship with various public and private Managed
Health Care Organizations.
Duties may include but are not limited to: establishing goals and objectives for the Division/Region and/or Facilities Intake Unit.
Assess daily admission and discharges status from programs within the Division/Region and/or Facilities. Work is performed
with considerable independence in accordance with established regulation, policies and procedures.
