As a Draughtsman - Fitout and joinery, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for fitout and joinery projects. This includes preparing accurate and precise drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software, as well as collaborating with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure the designs meet the project requirements and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed technical drawings and plans for fitout and joinery projects using CAD software
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure designs meet project requirements and specifications
- Review and modify existing drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Prepare material lists and cost estimates for projects
- Communicate with clients to understand their vision and incorporate their feedback into the designs
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CAD software to continuously improve design processes and techniques
- Ensure all drawings and plans comply with building codes and regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Draughtsman, preferably in fitout and joinery projects
- Proficient in CAD software and other relevant design tools
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
