Drainage Services Engineer

The Industrial & Water Services division of Enva provide high end environmental/engineering solutions involving directly employed engineers, technicians and operators and a large amount of bespoke and complex equipment solutions to the water and waste treatment sector. We are seeking an experienced Engineer with a technical engineering/construction background to join the team as mid management level and take on ownership and responsibility of projects, supervise operations, manage crews, assign tasks, monitor output, while developing their technical knowledge on environmental solutions to become an expert in their fieldThis role requires initiative, drive and dedication to ensure that the business unit grows and develops. The role offers significant potential for rapid personal growth and development. This role may suit a civil engineer/construction project manager looking to work in the Environmental/Water/Wastewater industry

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the effective and efficient management of projects making sure that the proposed plan is adhered to timeline, budget and scope.
• Managing systems to record the quality of work completed, testing, workmanship, and materials.
• Provide Engineering support to ensure technical problems are overcome and technical queries answered
• Ensure effective program management inclusive of subcontractor’s installation targets to specific programs.
• Produce, track & review quality control of project reports to contracts manager
• Generation of risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) and ensure that crews follow and maintain Enva safety standards.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, regulatory bodies and other stake holders
• Assist in driving forward the development of new service offerings within Enva.
• Research and support new initiatives to maintain Enva’s position as an innovator and a forward thinker in the surveying/testing and repair sector within Ireland and the UK.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Key Requirements:

• Civil Engineering, Construction, Surveying primary degree or related qualification minimum level 7
• Demonstrable experience with a minimum of 3-5 years’ site works, delivery of projects, management of crews and management of Safety
• Experience or knowledge of drainage surveying, asset surveying and testing and repair services
• Sector specific experience in the surveying or drainage services is advantageous

• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities within a fast paced environment
