Job Description

🌊 Who We Are

At Seaside Plumbing, we’re not just fixing plumbing—we’re restoring peace, uplifting lives, and raising the standard of what service in the trades looks like.

We believe:

• Service should feel human, not transactional
• Technicians should be respected, trained, and well-compensated
• Customers should feel confident and informed—not pressured
• And a plumbing career can be something you’re proud of—not just something you do

We’ve built a company where people grow, customers trust us, and the bar is set high.

⚠️ Let’s Be Clear (Read This First)

This is not for everyone.

This is not just running a cable machine.

This is not a “quick fix and move on” role.

This is a high-performance service environment where:

• Communication matters
• Problem-solving matters
• Ownership matters

You will diagnose issues, educate customers, and guide them to confident decisions.

If you don’t like talking to customers, explaining problems, or taking ownership of results—this is not the place for you.

👉 We are where the best come to become elite.

🔧 What You’ll Do

As a Drain Technician at Seaside, you will:

• Perform drain cleaning, jetting, and cable work on residential service calls
• Operate sewer camera equipment to diagnose main line issues
• Identify repair or replacement opportunities through inspections
• Clearly explain issues and solutions to homeowners
• Build trust and help customers make informed decisions
• Work closely with dispatch and customer service for smooth execution
• Maintain clean, organized equipment and a well-stocked truck
• Train and mentor apprentices on proper drain and diagnostic work
• Complete accurate documentation, invoices, and option sheets

💪 What Success Looks Like Here

• You accurately diagnose issues—not guess
• Customers understand the problem and trust your recommendations
• You hit performance goals while maintaining integrity
• Your work leads to repeat business and referrals
• You take ownership of your calls and your results
• You operate with professionalism and consistency

🧠 What Makes This Role Different

This is not just drain cleaning.

We invest heavily in:

• Technical training and diagnostics
• Communication and customer experience
• Personal and professional growth

You won’t just clear drains here—

👉 You’ll become a true diagnostic expert and trusted advisor.

💰 Compensation & Benefits

We believe great people deserve to be taken care of.

• Competitive pay: $21–$23/hour (based on experience and performance)
• 100% paid health, dental, and vision (for you AND your family)
• $15,000 company-paid life insurance (with upgrade options)
• 401(k) with 4% match
• Profit sharing
• Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays
• NO emergency on-call
• State-of-the-art tools, parts, and equipment
• Ongoing paid training

👉 Very few companies offer what we offer. We mean that.

🧩 Who This Is For

This role is a great fit if you:

• Have experience in drains, sewer, or related plumbing work
• Enjoy diagnosing problems and finding real solutions
• Are confident communicating with customers
• Take pride in your work and your results
• Are motivated, proactive, and growth-oriented

🚫 Who This Is NOT For

This is NOT a fit if you:

• Avoid customer interaction
• Rush through jobs without diagnosing properly
• Struggle with communication or explaining solutions
• Resist accountability or performance expectations
• Prefer low expectations and minimal structure

📍 Location

• This is an in-person position operating out of Bishopville, Maryland
• We serve homeowners across the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Delaware.

🌅 Our Mission

Bring brightness today.

Unlock the potential of tomorrow.

💙 Our Values

These values aren't just words on a wall—they guide our decisions, shape our culture, and set the standard for how we work together.

• Ownership — Take initiative. Own the outcome. Leave it better than you found it.
• Empathy — Lead with humanity, care and understanding.
• Courage — Embrace discomfort. Do the hard things. Growth follows.
• Gratitude — There is always something to be grateful for. Find it. Share it.
• Authenticity — Be your weird self and respect that in others. You shine brighter that way.

🔥 Final Word

There are easier plumbing jobs out there.

But if you’re looking for:

• Growth
• Opportunity
• A team that actually cares
• And a role where your skills and communication truly matter

👉 This might be it.
