Job Description

WELLTOWER – REIMAGINE REAL ESTATE WITH US

At Welltower, we’re transforming how the world thinks about senior living and wellness-focused real estate. As a global leader in residential wellness and healthcare infrastructure, we create vibrant, purpose-driven communities where housing, healthcare, and hospitality converge. Our culture is fast-paced, collaborative, and endlessly ambitious—guided by our mantra: The only easy day was yesterday.

We’re looking for bold, independent thinkers who thrive on challenge, embrace complexity, and are driven to deliver long-term value. Every team member is empowered to think like an owner, innovate fearlessly, and lead from where they stand. If you're passionate about outcomes and inspired by the opportunity to shape the future of healthcare infrastructure, we want you on our best-in-class team.

We are seeking an experienced Drafting Coordinator to join our industry-leading S&P 500 REIT. This role involves managing large-scale design solutions for senior living residential real estate. With over $70 billion in assets across 2,000 properties in three countries, this position will specifically support our US portfolio. This is a field-based role, requiring a home office and occasional travel to properties within the assigned area.

· Assist with preparing finish plans, furniture plans, elevations, millwork drawings, presentation drawings, specification packages, and supporting design documentation.

· Review shop drawings and submittals for coordination with design drawings and organize items requiring clarification or design direction.

· Maintain organized project drawing files, CAD standards, specifications, schedules, product information, redlines, and revision records.

· Support FF&E documentation, finish selections, material studies, and specification development as needed.

· Attend project meetings, design presentations, progress reviews, frame walks, field walks, installations, punch walks, and final project reviews as required.

· Assist with documenting field conditions, punch-list items, and construction-related changes that require updates to project drawings.

· Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal project teams to obtain information necessary to complete accurate drawing packages.
