What will you do?

As a Roads Drafter, you will bring to life the detailed design outputs that form the foundation of Aurecon’s award-winning transport projects. You’ll support engineers and designers in preparing accurate plans, sections, and construction documentation for road and civil infrastructure projects.

You’ll be part of a collaborative and multidisciplinary team working on some of Australia’s most significant transport infrastructure projects, reimagining how roads can shape a more sustainable and connected world. The scope of work and role will be as follows:

• Prepare and update technical drawings and documentation in accordance with project standards.

• Support the design team by managing drawing revisions, document control and ensuring quality control.

• Produce 2D and 3D documentation using AutoCAD or Civil 3D.

• Assist with the digital setup of projects and contribute to efficient documentation workflows.

• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure accuracy and integration of design information.

What can you bring to the team?

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:

• At least 7 years relevant experience

• Competent in AutoCAD 2D generally

• Demonstrated experience in Road Project design drawing production

• Demonstrated experience working with a multi-disciplinary team delivering high quality drawings

• Demonstrated Australian project experience will be viewed favorably
