Drafter 2

Duration : 1 Year

Client- Alabama Power

Loaction- Birmingham, AL

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3+ years of drafting experience required
• Associate’s degree in Drafting is preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform CAD drafting for:
  • Boundary surveys
  • Transmission line right-of-way (ROW) surveys
  • Land tie surveys
• Prepare written descriptions, including:
  • "Metes and bounds"s
  • "Centerline"s for assigned projects

Support Functions:

• Assist survey field crews and office personnel with:
  • Researching existing survey and real estate records
  • Contacting local and state agencies to gather right-of-way information
  • Transmitting completed project files and documentation
