Responsible for dispatching Alamo Colleges
District’s police officers and security officers to any campus or district
location upon request.

Reports to the District Department of Public
Safety.

Qualifications

Minimum Education/Experience:

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent (GED).
  • Six months of experience in a position that required public contact, reception duties, dispatching, or related duties.

Preferred Education/Experience:

  • Some college.
  • Formal training program after high school of approximately one year in duration and one year of related job experience.
  • One year of experience including some experience with radio communications and computers.

Required License and Certifications:

  • Position requires certification by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) within one year from date of appointment.
