Salary: Union rate $35-$48/hr based on experience, overtime, day shift

OUR CLIENT

Our client is a reputable, well-established, Canadian-owned construction contractor. This role will have you reporting to the Foreman and Superintendent and working within a supportive environment with many tenured employees.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating dozers in construction or earthmoving projects.
• Proven expertise in trim and fine grade work, with a strong eye for detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, grade plans, and laser guidance systems.
• Solid understanding of site safety procedures and equipment maintenance practices.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Reliability, punctuality, and pride in delivering high-quality work.

WHAT'S REQUIRED

• Operate dozers with precision to achieve exact trim and fine grade specifications for construction sites.
• Interpret site plans, grade stakes, and laser levels to ensure accurate earthmoving and grading.
• Collaborate closely with site supervisors, surveyors, and other operators to meet project timelines and quality standards.
• Maintain equipment in peak operating condition through daily inspections and basic maintenance.
• Uphold strict safety protocols and environmental standards on every job site.
• Adapt to varying site conditions and project requirements while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
