Dow has an opportunity for a Marketing Manager in Dow Coating Materials. The locations for this role are São Paulo, Brazil, and Mexico City, Mexico.

About you and this role:

You will support its Paper Coatings, Industrial Coatings, Road Markings and Adhesives Market Segments. This role can be located in Sao Paulo (BRA) or Mexico City (MEX). This Regional Marketing Manager role is both strategic (long term focused) and tactical (shorter term focused) with responsibility for setting the growth strategies across the various segments and ensuring the successful execution of these strategies with the broader cross-functional teams in Latin America. This role will report to the Dow Coating Materials Senior Marketing Director for the Americas.

Dow Coating Materials (DCM) is a global business in Dow which supplies a range of raw materials into various coatings end-markets. DCM is on the leading edge of bringing value to the market by enabling coatings that meet the changing regulations, minimize materials of concern, provide improved carbon footprints, bring enhanced performance attributes or provide improved cost in use attributes to coatings.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Setting & Implementation: This role will work to develop, refine & implement the various growth strategies across the Paper Coatings, Industrial Coatings, Road Markings & Adhesives market segments across the LAA region.
  • LAA Segment MIT Leadership: This role will be a member of the Global MMTs (Market Management Teams) for Paper, Industrial, Road Markings & Adhesives while also leading the segment MITs (Market Implementation Teams) in the LAA region.
  • Product: This role will work closely with TS&D to prioritize the portfolio of projects, including both broad market & customer specific projects, to help justify, plan, execute & develop the appropriate output materials to leverage externally.
  • Pricing: This role will play a role in value-pricing our new & existing products to help optimize profitability for Dow by understanding the next best alternatives in the market as well as the value our products bring to the entire value chains.
  • Promotion: This role will work in close alignment with a cross-functional team to develop out the right approaches to get our messages broadly into the market through both digital and more conventional methods.
  • Place: This role will help to drive our various channel strategies in the region across the different segments including alignment with our distribution partners to enable growth across smaller formulators and across the diverse sub-regions in LAA.
  • L&OM Management: This role will support lead generation across our Paper, Industrial, Road Markings & Adhesives segments, including Digital and traditional lead gen techniques to ensure a robust pipeline that can translate to future growth.
  • Innovation: This role will provide inputs into different Global R&D programs across the market segments as well as serve as the Project Success Leader (PSL) for LAA specific R&D Programs across Paper, Industrial, Road Markings & Adhesives.
  • Key Customer Support: This role will work closely with the Sales and TS&D organizations to engage new and existing customers in the market to develop & drive new growth opportunities across the various market segments.
  • External Presence in the Market: This role will need to establish contacts across the various segment value chains to serve as a source of key market intel for Dow as well as connecting opportunities down in the value chain for Dow.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English, with strong written, verbal
  • Executive-level presentation skills.
