Position Summary:
The Dos Coyotes Assistant Manager will provide shift management coverage and direction to Team Members in the restaurant, working to achieve individual and department goals while maintaining AAA Four Diamond standards of Guest service. The Dos Coyotes Assistant Manager is responsible for the efficient and profitable operation of the restaurant during all assigned shifts and beyond. Responsibilities must be performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
Essential Functions:
1.    Practice, support, and promote Thunder Valley Casino Resort’s “Winning Attitude” company-wide culture and demonstrate AAA Four Diamond service standards at all times.
2.    Responsible for Guest service delivery, financial performance of the restaurant including revenue generated during assigned shifts, Guest recovery, and Team Member coaching.
3.    Ensure the proper inventory of materials, supplies, and merchandise are ordered and stocked. Effectively communicate new product information to Team Members.
4.    Determine daily and weekly staffing requirements and schedules, and assign work hours, schedule vacations, and coordinate days off.
5.    Ensure proper staffing levels are maintained.
6.    Interview, hire, and train new Team Members. Track skills and knowledge of Team Members and ensure timely training of new hires.
7.    Evaluate and oversee job performance of all Dos Coyotes Team Members. Hold individual Team Members accountable for performance of job duties, tasks, policies and procedures.
8.    Document attendance, discipline, incidents, schedules, meeting notes, reports and any other related materials in a timely manner using the appropriate forms provided.
9.    Ensure all company policies and store operating standards are communicated effectively and followed in a consistent manner.
10.    Organize work throughout the restaurant in a manner that facilitates efficient customer service and profitable operations.
11.    Work during various meal periods and hours of operation for Dos Coyotes.
12.    Maintain quality control of products and services, ensuring excellent and consistent quality of service and presentation.
13.    Ensure the appearance of equipment and Guest areas of Dos Coyotes are maintained in a consistent manner.
14.    Maintain brand-specific requirements as outlined in the franchise agreements and operating manuals for Dos Coyotes.
15.    Practice and observe safety rules and regulations, and encourage others to do so.  Comply with Board of Health Standards and ensure cleanliness of all Dos Coyotes   areas.
16.    Responsible for maintaining the Hazard Communication Standard for your area.

QualificationsMinimum

Qualifications:
1.    Prior food and beverage supervisory experience in a fast-paced, high-volume food service outlet.
2.    High school diploma or equivalent required.
3.    Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
4.    Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, evening shifts.
5.    Time management skills including the ability to delegate, empower, and evaluate management and hourly Team Members to achieve desired objectives with minimal supervision.
6.    Demonstrate sound judgment in all decision making, even when dealing with difficult situations.
7.    Must be at least 21 years of age.
8.    Must be able to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License.
Physical Requirements:
1.    Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
2.    Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time in a hot or cold food production environment.
3.    Requires walking, reaching, turning, bending, lifting, carrying, observing, hearing, sitting.
4.    Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.

Thunder Valley Casino Resort is a AAA Four Diamond award-winning casino and resort in Lincoln, California, 30 miles (48 km) east of Sacramento. It is owned by the United Auburn Indian Community and opened in June 2003.

Thunder Valley was the first full Las Vegas-style casino in Northern California.
