Door-to-Door Canvasser | North Vancouver, BC

PPL is hiring full-time professional canvassers to support an outdoor, door-to-door community outreach and data collection program in the North Vancouver area. This role requires a strictly bi-partisan approach, meaning no political affiliation or preference, and a high level of professionalism in every interaction. Trust, neutrality, and data integrity are foundational to this work.

This is frontline, physically active work. You’ll be walking neighborhoods for most of the day, working outdoors in varying conditions, and using your own vehicle to travel between assigned areas. We’re looking for people who are comfortable in the field, confident speaking with the public, and committed to doing the work properly.

What you’ll do

• Conduct door-to-door canvassing within assigned neighborhoods on behalf of a political party in advance of a by-election
• Ask standardized questions and accurately capture responses
• Collect contact information when voluntarily provided
• Represent PPL with discretion, consistency, and professionalism

Who you are

• A conservative member, voter, or bipartisan with no political affiliations or preference
• Confident, composed, and comfortable engaging with the public
• Detail-oriented and disciplined in following scripts and protocols
• Physically capable of walking for extended periods outdoors
• Reliable, punctual, and accountable
• Previous professional canvassing or field experience is a strong asset

Requirements

• Full-time availability
• Comfort with outdoor, physically demanding work
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle
• Smartphone required for field data collection

Program Details

• Location, North Vancouver
• Shifts, up to 8 hours per day
• Short-term contract
• Competitive hourly compensation, $21/hour
• Paid training provided
