Responsible for verifying that guests are 21 years and older, ensuring the safety and protection of the guests, employees and hotel/casino property.
Check identifications of all guests to ensure they are 21 years of age or older;
Enforce appropriate dress code of guests while in bar;
Respond to confrontational or combative situation and be able to diffuse the tension in a positive manner in accordance with Silver Legacy Security Department policies & procedures.
Answer questions from guests regarding Silver Legacy or the surrounding area to the best of your ability.
Regular, predictable attendance in accordance with department policy;
Other job related duties as assigned.

Requires the ability to distinguish letters or symbols, perform complex tasks, simple reading, math and complex writing skills.
Requires the ability to see things spatially and with form, perform clerical functions, compile, coordinate, analyze and synthesize information.
Requires the ability to supervise, instruct others, follow instructions, influence others, meet time requirements, memorize, problem solve, use independent judgment and decision making skills.
Requires communicating by two-way radio and telephone in English.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Above average speech – both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills. Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
