As the Door-Host at Black Lacquer, your mission is to promote an attractive and dynamic image of the venue by developing a client portfolio that aligns with the group’s and the restaurant’s DNA. You will also help ensure compliance in the entry and exit of people and goods.

Under the responsibility of the Director of Membership & Cultural Programming, you will work daily in collaboration with the public relations teams, the communications department, and the head hostesses of the restaurants. Together with them, you will define the target clientele and convey the desired brand image

YOUR KEY REPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop contacts with potential clients of our establishments
  • Convey a young, dynamic image of the restaurant on social media
  • In constant contact with the head hostesses, you will ensure the restaurant’s momentum and atmosphere
  • Represent the company and maintain a network of loyal clients
  • Embody the restaurant
  • Be present in the restaurants in the evening on a regular basis
  • Send high-quality reservations
  • Ensure supervision of the premises and property, and carry out preventive and risk-detection patrols

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to provide clear direction to the venue teams.
  • Communicate with team members using a positive and clear speaking voice, listen to and understand requests, respond with appropriate actions and provide accurate information.
  • Remain calm and alert, especially during emergency situations.
  • Make decisions and take actions based on previous experience and good judgment, sometimes revising procedures to accommodate unusual situations.

  • Thorough knowledge of the Ennismore group and its offerings
  • Thorough knowledge of the client portfolio
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing techniques
  • Knowledge of table service and Ennismore service standards
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Good presentation and a sense of aesthetics
