About Madinat Jumeirah:

About the Job:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Door Attendant to join Madinat Jumeirah Resort. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, open doors, anticipate guest needs, and provide a positive first and last impression of the hotel.
Assist with luggage handling, coordinate bell services, call taxis or rides, manage valet traffic, and escort guests as needed.
Monitor the entrance, screen visitors, ensure authorized access, follow safety procedures, and report suspicious or unusual activity.
Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, services, events, dining options, and local attractions, while assisting with guest inquiries and requests.
Receive, sign for, log, and distribute packages and deliveries according to hotel procedures.
Maintain a clean, orderly, and welcoming entrance area, assist during peak times or emergencies, support front desk and concierge teams, and ensure clear communication during shift handovers.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills with a professional, well-groomed appearance.
Excellent knowledge of the hotel property and local area to confidently assist and inform guests.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as required.
Physically capable of standing for extended periods and safely assisting with luggage and guest needs.
Previous hospitality or customer-facing experience preferred; valid driver’s license required when performing valet duties.
