Job Description

Solvita is seeking a dedicated Donor Referral Center (DRC) Supervisor to lead the daily operations of our 24/7 Donor Referral Center. In this role, you will guide a team responsible for the accurate and timely evaluation of potential organ, tissue, and eye donors—work that directly impacts lives and advances our mission of saving and enhancing life through donation.
This position is ideal for a detail driven leader who thrives in a fast paced, mission focused environment and is passionate about operational excellence, team development, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee, plan, and lead daily operations of the Donor Referral Center.
• Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and operational procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
• Manage staff competency, training programs, and ongoing development.
• Perform DRC duties—including screening, authorization, and case management—when needed to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Coordinate scheduling to ensure reliable 24/7 staffing coverage.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and quality standards.
• Serve as Solvita’s subject matter expert for iTransplant, EMR systems, phone/recording systems, and DRC logistics.
• Foster strong interdepartmental collaboration and communication.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and cross functional project teams.
• Assist with payroll processes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
• Associate degree required.
• At least one year of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Certified Tissue Bank Specialist (CTBS), or eligibility to obtain certification within two testing cycles.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Flexibility to adjust schedule based on operational needs.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire, coach, and develop high performing teams.
• Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
• Proven problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to set priorities, drive results, and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
