Job Title: Donation Door Lead

Location: 4951 Santa Barbara Boulevard, Naples, FL 34112

Employment Type: Full-Time / Hourly

Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking a Donation Door Lead to oversee daily operations at the donation door and support the smooth intake and processing of donated goods This leadlevel role is critical in guiding donation attendants, operating materialhandling equipment, and ensuring donations move efficiently through the Kaizen system. The ideal candidate combines strong customer service skills, attention to safety, and leadership ability while advancing Goodwill's mission of creating opportunities and strengthening the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all operations within the Donation Door area.
  • Assist Donation Door Attendants with receiving, recording, sorting, and processing donations.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely and effectively.
  • Ensure full compliance with Kaizen guidelines, audits, and 5minute drill standards.
  • Coordinate donation flow to support efficient processing and workflow.
  • Provide friendly, professional customer service to donors and internal teams.
  • Assist with processing, cleaning, building fixtures or equipment, and related tasks as needed.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Forklift certification preferred
  • Previous experience in retail and/or stock handling preferred.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other donationhandling equipment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Sufficient mobility to turn, lean, kneel, bend, and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to see and accurately recognize colors.
  • Knowledge of basic math skills.
  • Ability to frequently lift items weighing at least 40 pounds
  • Ability to occasionally team lift items weighing up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to work in environments where temperatures and climate may fluctuate.
