The Accountant is primarily responsible for the ongoing managing of financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The Accountant must be able to assist in the preparation of reporting packages to provide current and accurate information to management to make solid business decisions related to operations. This position will report to Financial Controller, PHI Americas.
The Accountant must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a solid background in Excel, with a positive and enthusiastic personality. Detail oriented with ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and with a strong team spirit.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. The special vision abilities for this job are close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
