Job Description

About us

Detailed Cleaning Solutions (DCS) is the domestic cleaning branch of allcare, an in-home aged care provider operating across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven. DCS’s Domestic Cleaners provide cleaning services to aged care clients living independently in their own homes.

Our Domestic Cleaners provide personalised services by getting to know our clients and understanding both what matters to them and how they want their domestic cleaning service to be delivered. Our mantra is that we come from a place of “yes”!

About the opportunity

We are seeking reliable Domestic Cleaners with a high attention to detail, to join our team on a consistent casual basis, with regular availability between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.

This role will deliver cleaning services and assistance around the home to our in-home aged care clients in the Shoalhaven. The role is primarily based in Nowra and surrounds but may be required to travel within the Shoalhaven region (and on occasion may also require travel between southern Illawarra and the Far South Coast).

We’re looking for team members who can communicate their availability openly and honestly, allowing us to work together to create a consistent roster that suits both you and our clients. Regular scheduling helps us deliver high-quality, person-centred care while providing you with greater stability, the ability to plan ahead, and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and make a lasting difference in the lives of older people.

No previous experience is required. We value a positive attitude, reliability, compassion and a strong work ethic. We'll provide the training, support, equipment and uniforms—you just need to bring your authentic self and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of older people

You will also:

  • be able to work independently and under minimal supervision;
  • have a strong focus on quality and person-centred outcomes;
  • be honest, reliable and demonstrate integrity;
  • have good communication skills; and
  • want to support our clients to live comfortably and independently in their own-homes.

Our team members enjoy:

  • Employee Referral (Refer a Friend) Scheme;
  • access to our Thrive Care Group benefits including Flare (discounts platform), EAP and;
