Job Description

The role provides high-quality domestic cleaning services to improve customers’ daily lives, supporting them to maintain independence while living in their own home. All cleaning products and equipment are supplied by the customer, and you are reimbursed for travel time and mileage between customers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality person-centered domestic cleaning services to customers in accordance with Care Plans, the Domestic Support Manual and Lifebridge policies and procedures.
  • Provide in-home services and supports to customers including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cleaning indoor windows, washing dishes, meal preparation, changing bed linen, laundry, ironing, unescorted shopping, cleaning bathroom/toilets and inside fridges/cupboards.
  • Monitor customers health and wellbeing, living conditions and circumstances and report service details and any incidents or concerns in the Customer Management System (CMS) and to the Care Partner if required.
  • Accurately report information in the CMS including logging in and out of shifts, submitting timesheets, recording mileage and travel time and submitting leave requests.
  • Participate in work related training including completion of on-line modules, staff meetings, workshops, mandatory competency assessments and ongoing learning activities as required.

Skills / Competencies Required

  • Experience in delivering high-quality domestic cleaning services.
  • Willingness to travel to multiple customer homes across the Northern NSW region.
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service, communication skills and relationship management.
  • Excellent time management and the ability to work independently, remotely and with minimal supervision.
  • Sound computer skills and ability to use smartphone technology and applications.
  • Current drivers licence and ownership of a roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive or third-party property vehicle insurance.
  • Current NDIS Worker Check (or able to get one).
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR.
