  • Permanent part time role
  • 15 hours p/w, a maximum of 4.5 hours p/d between 9am - 4pm depending on rosters

You'll be responsible for supporting older people and people with disabilities remain living at home by providing domestic assistance in a respectful, and client focussed manner.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Domestic Assistance, including house cleaning, laundry, bedlinen changing, and shopping

    assistance.
  • Undertake these tasks according to the service plan and Direct Care Procedure Manual.
  • Utilise a mobile device (as provided by Council) to read and manage rosters, review service plans and carry out other relevant communication.
  • Monitor and report any concerns during service provision, including concerns about the health, safety, environmental changes and wellbeing of a client

The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role:

  • Desire to work in the community in a supportive and hands on role
  • Good communication skills and demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Current Victorian Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle during business hours.
  • Current and Valid Police and Working with Children Check
