Join our Team

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Domain Sales Manager – Telco Core Networks to drive technology leadership, customer engagement, and business growth across the Core Network domain. In this role, you will serve as Ericsson's trusted advisor and technology leader, partnering with our customer to define and execute the long-term vision, architecture, and roadmap for next-generation core networks.

The role spans EPC/Packet Core, IMS, Signalling, Dual Mode Core, 4G, 5G, Telco Cloud, and the evolution towards 6G and autonomous network operations. You will work closely with senior customer stakeholders to ensure technology investments support business objectives, operational excellence, network resilience, and future innovation.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the development and execution of the Core Network Technology Strategy across Packet Core, IMS, Signalling, Dual Mode Core, 4G, 5G, Telco Cloud, and emerging 6G capabilities.
  • Define and drive the joint Ericsson-customer technology vision, architecture, and investment roadmap aligned with business priorities and financial objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to executive customer stakeholders, influencing strategic technology decisions and transformation initiatives.
  • Provide thought leadership in areas including network automation, AI-driven operations, network slicing, cloud-native architectures, cybersecurity, resilience, and autonomous networks.
  • Drive the evolution of the core network towards Level 4 (L4) autonomous operations through advanced automation, orchestration, analytics, and AI capabilities.
  • Lead end-to-end core network lifecycle management, from strategy and architecture through deployment, operations, optimization, and retirement.
  • Collaborate across Ericsson's sales, solutioning, delivery, engineering, and managed services organizations to ensure successful customer outcomes.
  • Establish strong partnerships with regulators, industry bodies, technology vendors, and ecosystem partners.
  • Lead and develop high-performing multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Ensure effective governance, risk management, business continuity, disaster recovery, and regulatory compliance across the core domain.
  • Serve as Ericsson's single accountable technology representative for the Core Network domain, managing executive communications, escalations, and strategic stakeholder engagement.
  • Champion Ericsson's commitment to health, safety, well-being, and Target Zero.

The Skills You Bring

  • Deep expertise in telecommunications core networks, including EPC, Packet Core, IMS, Signalling, Cloud Core, and 5G Core technologies.
  • Strong understanding of Telco Cloud architectures, cloud-native technologies, automation platforms, and AI-driven network operations.
  • Experience shaping large-scale network transformation strategies and technology roadmaps.
  • Knowledge of emerging 6G trends, autonomous networks, and next-generation service architectures.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience aligning technology investments to business outcomes.
  • Executive-level stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Proven leadership experience managing large, complex, cross-functional teams and transformation programs.
  • Strong understanding of network security, regulatory compliance, resilience, and operational excellence.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management capabilities.
