Domain Owner / Expert (Product and Engineering)

Scale R&D · Rapyd · Dubai

The role blends product thinking and hands-on engineering: you define the problem, write the spec, build the solution, and own the outcome.

What you'll do:

• Identify high-impact problems using data, partner feedback, and business analysis.
• Translate business requirements into clear, testable specs before a line of code is written.
• Build the solution yourself — code, tooling, automation, or orchestration of AI workflows.
• Own the quality bar; you're responsible for what ships to production under your name.
• Monitor, measure, and iterate post-launch, feeding learnings into the next spec cycle.
• Own the relationship with your domain's stakeholders and the commercial results that follow.

Requirements

What we're looking for:

We're looking for an engineer first- someone with strong technical roots who has developed a sharp product instinct and a genuine curiosity about the "why" behind the "what."

• 8+ years of experience in R&D or Product Management.
• 2+ years of experience with AI tools and LLM orchestration.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with TypeScript, Node.js, React, SQL, Redux and Jest.
• Proven track record shipping products or features end-to-end.
• Ability to write clear, actionable specs for solutions you are ready to build end-to-end yourself.
• Commercial-first thinking, using data to challenge your own assumptions.
• Ability to explain a technical trade-off to a non-technical stakeholder without losing either side.
• Strong proficiency in spoken and written English, with excellent communication skills.
• Bonus: exposure to regulated payments, reconciliation, or large-scale system migrations.
