Senior Manager / Group Manager / AGM – HCBU

The Role

We are looking for a sharp, analytically driven Senior Analyst to join our Hybrid Cloud Strategy & Research team. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of market intelligence, competitive strategy, and business performance — responsible for synthesizing complex data into actionable insights that directly inform our hybrid cloud services roadmap and go-to-market approach.

You will own unit-level reporting across the hybrid cloud portfolio, design and execute competitive benchmarking studies, and lead secondary research initiatives that keep the organization ahead of market shifts. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role for someone who can move fluidly between rigorous quantitative analysis and clear, board-ready strategic narrative.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and continuously improve unit-level dashboards tracking KPIs
• Translate raw operational and financial data into structured reports for senior leadership, providing monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc performance reviews
• Collaborate with Finance, Product, and Engineering teams to align reporting definitions, data sources, and governance standards.
• Automate and streamline recurring reports / maintain BAU reporting

Strategy Development & Frameworks

• Support the development of multi-year strategic plans for the hybrid cloud services portfolio, including market sizing, scenario modelling, and prioritization frameworks.
• Build structured strategy documents — opportunity assessments, investment cases, and executive briefings — grounded in data and market evidence.
• Synthesize inputs from internal stakeholders (Sales, Product, Engineering, Finance) and external research to form integrated strategic recommendations.
• Monitor macroeconomic, regulatory, and technology trends (e.g. FinOps, edge computing, AI infrastructure) and assess implications for the hybrid cloud strategy.
• Contribute to annual planning cycles, OKR design, and portfolio prioritization discussions

Secondary Research & Market Intelligence

• Design and execute comprehensive secondary research programs covering hybrid cloud market dynamics, customer segments, pricing trends, and technology evolution.
• Synthesize intelligence from analyst reports (Gartner, IDC, Forrester), trade publications, earnings transcripts, regulatory filings, and academic sources.
• Maintain an organized, searchable internal knowledge base of research findings and market data accessible to key stakeholders.
• Track and report on macro trends including hyperscaler strategies (AWS, Azure, GCP), enterprise adoption patterns, and vertical-specific cloud requirements.
• Develop and maintain market sizing models and total addressable market (TAM) estimates for core and adjacent service categories.

Skill Requirements

• Lead structured competitive benchmarking exercises across direct and indirect competitors in the hybrid cloud services landscape.
• Maintain and update competitive intelligence profiles covering pricing, product capabilities, go-to-market motion, partnerships, and customer positioning.
